Thankfulness

I wanted to start our blog off with thankfulness.  If you stop and think we all have much to be thankful for.  We are thankful for our family and friends.  There is nothing better than knowing there is someone that has your back in good and bad times.

We have had a very busy October and we are thankful it is over.  We started with Joshua's 6th birthday.  All of his birthdays have been great but this year it was hard to believe that he is 6.  We celebrated with family and friends at a pumpkin patch.  His favorite thing was riding a pony.

Dad lead the pony and all the pony wanted was some corn.  Needless to say, it was a great event to watch.  Next, we had my sister-in-law's baby shower and that followed our Nephew's 4th birthday.  Joel and I took a 24 hour break.  We had our Mom's come up and spend time with the kids.  We loved seeing our parents every weekend.  It is nice to be close to family after being on the east coast for 10 years.

We are also grateful that we found one street that has semi good fall leaves.  We so miss the fall back in New Jersey.  We are happy that we have a home and we are finally putting down some roots.

We carved our first pumpkins with the kids.  When I say we I mean Dad.  Our two oldest found it very exciting but did not want to help./  They watched with awe as Dad did all the work.

I thought I would also share our kids with you, since we are very thankful for them.
